El miércoles 5 de octubre, de 16.00 a 20.00 horas, en el Ceip Capellanía del Yágabo, tendrá lugar la quinta y última sesión del curso “Aprender inglés a través del teatro y de la danza”. Tras las cuatro sesiones impartidas por Lavina Sadarangani, que han sido valoradas muy positivamente por el profesorado asistente, pone el broche final a este curso la norteamericana Cristina Efres. En su trayectoria profesional ha sido auxiliar de conversación ha trabajado en el aula el line-dancing y destaca también por sus habilidades artísticas y plásticas. Ha promovido diversas tareas artísticas con su alumnado utilizando materiales reciclados. Además, este pasado verano presentó una exposición pictórica en el Casino Club Náutico de Arrecife. Su intervención en el curso abordará el “Line-dancing” y “Making Stage Backdrops for Role-Play in the Classroom”. Los contenidos de cada una de las partes de esa sesión son:
Line-dancing:
1. Teaching cultural aspects of English speaking countries through their music and dance traditions.
2. What is line-dancing? How, why and where was it born? What kind of music is usually used for line-dancing?
3. Teaching parts of the body and directions through dance.
4. Let's dance.
Making Stage Backdrops for Role-Play in the Classroom or Performances in the School Auditorium:
1. What can be re-used or recycled to make our backdrops? Brainstorm.
2. What kind of backdrops do we need for our play? More brainstorming!!!
3. Teacher Planning- Preparation beforehand.
4. Organising- groupwork and tasks.5. Get creative. Let's get to work!!!
